Protect Your Family from Lead in Your Home

The Protect Your Family From Lead In Your Home pamphlet informs people about how to reduce lead exposure where they live. It was developed by the Environmental Protection Agency in response to congressional concerns over public knowledge of lead – based paint exposure. Distribution of the pamphlet is recommended at the time of lease to new tenants and a new EPA regulation requires renovators who work for pay, to distribute the pamphlet to property owners and occupants of most housing built prior to 1978 before starting the work.
